Cindy Jones

Born in Ohio, I grew up in small mid-western towns, reading for escape.  I dreamed of living in a novel and wrote my first book in fifth grade.  After a business career, husband, and the birth of four sons, I wrote My Jane Austen Summer: A Season in Mansfield Park.  I studied creative writing in the SMU CAPE program and belong to the The Squaw Valley Community of Writers and the Writers League of Texas.  I live with my family in Dallas where I have discovered that, through writing, it is entirely possible to live in a novel for a good part of each day.

I had no idea your manuscript won that contest. Look forward to reading it and in preparation, I’m reading ‘The Jane Austen Book Club”–quite a change from my usual mysteries. Am thoroughly enjoying it.

Just came back from visiting Jenn, Aaron and the grandkids and this was a great trip. I do love my grandchildren afterall.

    What is proper blog etiquette?

  2. Hey Cameron, I’m glad you had a good trip. Your grandchildren are awesome–can’t wait till they come to Dallas again. We miss NM–we’re melting in Dallas (104 today). George nearly vaporized at the airport. Blog etiquette? IDK. I’m a newbie too, so we’ll just struggle through together and hope we don’t get kicked out of WordPress.
